- 3 pounds whole chicken wings
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. Place wings in a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until juices run clear.
- In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour 1/2 cup into a 3-qt. slow cooker. Drain chicken wings; add to slow cooker. Drizzle with remaining sauce. Cover and cook on low for 1 hour, basting occasionally.

** 3 pounds of uncooked chicken wing sections (wingettes) may be substituted for the whole chicken wings. Omit the first step.
*** My Hubby likes his wings crispy so sometimes I coat them lightly with flour then deep fry until crispy, and make the sauce in a sauce pan and lightly coat wings just before serving
- 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
- (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon bacon bits
- 12 ounces jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 quarts oil for frying
- In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Spoon this mixture into the jalapeno pepper halves.
- Put the milk and flour into two separate small bowls. Dip the stuffed jalapenos first into the milk then into the flour, making sure they are well coated with each. Allow the coated jalapenos to dry for about 10 minutes.
- Dip the jalapenos in milk again and roll them through the breadcrumbs. Allow them to dry, then repeat to ensure the entire surface of the jalapeno is coated.
- In a medium skillet, heat the oil to 365 degrees F ( 180 degrees C). Deep fry the coated jalapenos 2 to 3 minutes each, until golden brown. Remove and let drain on a paper towel.

** can be Served with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing

- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup of Chili Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- Salt & Pepper to Taste>
- 24 Hamburger Buns>
In a large pot/skillet, over a medium heat, brown ground beef till crumbly
drain well return return to pan. Add onion powder, garlic powder,
salt & pepper,ketchup and Chili sauce to meat stir well, over a medium heat,
heat to bubbly then add the brown sugar, lower heat and simmer 5-10 min
stirring often. serve on hamburger buns served with you favorite chips :)
* Makes aprox 24 Sloppy Joes
** if you prefer you can jazz this up a bit,
omit onion powder and add sauteed onions and/or
green peppers!
